Tips to note before you enter the internet in search of money ..

May 27, 2008 · Filed Under Suggestions · Comment

If you’re like me you’ve spent hours, maybe days or months trying to find how a newbie make money online and affiliate programs that work.

Are you new to trying to make money on the internet and have tried online “lotteries” and other free online services promising $$$ without any success? I had done the same and was coming to the conclusion that I would need to get into computer programming or other IT programs to earn a living online.

Being new to making money on the internet, most newbies will fall for at least one “get rich quick” idea. Many of these get rich quick schemes are like buying fake jewelry from a street vendor. Their sales pitch was great and even though it seemed ‘to good to be true’, you think you have gotten a great deal. Then, after trying on your new jewelry, you notice that the gold is only paint on the surface and that other than the great outside appearance, you have bought something of almost no value. It’s no wonder many newbies are giving up trying to find ways to make money online.

The Internet is full of websites that offer ways to ‘make money filling out surveys’ or ‘data entry positions’. Many of them require LOTS of work for little money. People are now getting more involved in Internet Marketing and promoting digital products, services and many other items.

Even though Affiliate marketing is a great place to start for newbies, you will often find yourself wondering where to start or what you should sell? To achieve ultimate success, you will need to pick just one idea or concept to start and devote yourself to it 100%. Being sidetracked half way through or throwing in the towel after a few failed attempts are the leading causes of Affiliate marketing failure.

The necessity to have multiple campaigns at the same time seems to be a common misconception of Affiliate marketing. This causes people to spread themselves too thin which wears them out before seeing a profit. The competition in Internet marketing can be fierce and it’s always better to focus on one type of market than to be an expert in every niche market.

If you are newbie seeking out trusted and proven Affiliate marketing websites, they are out there and you may just have to dig a little. You’re best option is to find one that requires a membership as many of these free affiliate forums and websites are a magnet for spammers that prey on people looking to make a living via the internet. Personally, I registered to over 20 free sites before realizing that I had to dish out a little money for a quality membership to a quality website.

If you do happen to fall for a scam, learn from your experience. It’s always the people that continue to move forward that end up being successful.

$150 per month fixed - Payments Received !!

April 15, 2008 · Filed Under Easy Money Making Programs · 4 Comments

Now I know that I have been a bit irregular in my postings but I am actually a bit busy with my exams that just got over so now I am back in business. 2 days back I received an email from matched.co.uk saying that my payments for the last month have been processed and I should be receiving the payments within one week.

So it really works and this is the first batch of payments and so far they have been very good at communication too. Though it takes a bit to get accepted in the program and some time in ads being allocated but its worth every second. So go on and build your passive income. This is the first step to your freedom.

Make $150 per month Fixed - Update

March 30, 2008 · Filed Under Affiliates, Easy Money Making Programs · 4 Comments

About a week ago I wrote a post on how you make $150 per month fixed by displaying ads on your indexed pages. I just logged in to my account a couple of days to see that I had a lot of referrals - 19 to be exact and 4 of my blogs including this one got approved already. One is still pending but I guess since the program is still in beta they may not have enough ads to allocate but the concept is getting popular and more and more advertisers are willing to go for it due to various reasons. You can see an example of the ad right here on this page

The first is that the ad publishing cost is damn cheap and effective since you can select the pages that are most trafficked. Its a win win situation for both since the publishers have to publish the ads only once and they can make upto $150 per month - kinda of passive income. I personally feel there is more potential in the affiliate program if you can pull enough referrals and promote it on various forums and do some article submissions to various top directories. Everyone loves passive income and easy money and it cant get better than this.

There are already similar such sites that are UK based and are running successfully. I am looking into other such programs and will soon post details after trying it out for sometime to see how it works.

Tongues are already Wagging about IT !!!

March 27, 2008 · Filed Under SEO · Comment

After the famous digg it now comes something that is even better than it and that is called wagg it !! So whats new in it for us you will ask me. Well first and the main reason is they are encouraging overt promotion of blogs which is one of its kind. This is something for the bloggers, of the bloggers and by the bloggers kind of thing. Remember you cannot promote adult, pharma or gambling sites but other than that there are no topical restrictions. whatsoever. And last but not the least I failed to see any banners and adverts in my way. The layout was clean and neat.

It’s a great idea to reach out to the world through the online world. It makes sense to talk about what’s important to you so that you can spread the word. If you feel strongly about something it’s a good idea to tell more people about it, you never know when it clicks and the world starts talking about what you think is important. It’s a great idea to Promote blog and ensure that it stays atop. And thats why you should not hesitate in trying something new and innovative.

It’s about being recognized at top social networking sites because this is where you can leave your mark. You need to create an impact and reach out to more and more people. This obviously means you are looking at increased traffic to the concerned site. For this you need to advertise blog in an effective manner so that you can reach out far and near.

This is a very addictive idea because the more you discuss the more people you’ll find who have a viewpoint to share. You are on your way to creating a platform where more people can share their viewpoints with you and the rest of the world. What you need to do is simply getting started, and you never know where you’ll reach, it’s fast spreading, fun and very satisfying.

Tips for Writing Posts

March 24, 2008 · Filed Under Suggestions · 3 Comments

More and more bloggers are finding it more and more difficult to write consistently on topics that they love and like !! It is said that you must blog about the topic that you like the most and can write on them consistently but sadly bloggers are finding it difficult. Here are some common and short tips to help you in the process.

1. Dont wait

Many bloggers have ideas and stories that they come across and it simply flashes through their mind and they think ” This is a good idea and so today i will write about it ” but most of the time fail to do it cause by the time they get down to writing they no longer remember the story and struggle continues. So what you must do is to jit it down instantly in a diary or even your mobile phones which I believe everyone possess.

2. Dont Push IT

Many bloggers commit the same mistake of trying to write it so beautifully and they over do it trying to push their limits beyond what they are capable of. Remember readers want information and it dosent matter in what form it comes. Even if your post contains grammar mistakes or spelling mistakes, its okay as long as the meaning is clear and makes sense. However it is advisable that you dont make such mistakes but trying to write in a too beautiful way can consume a lot of time which sadly we dont have anymore in today’s hectic schedule.

3. Friends are for Help

It is said that a friend in need is a friend in deed and it certainly holds true in case of a blogger. Ask your friends to read your blog carefully and see what they think. Observe their expressions when they read and talk to them. Ask them to give an honest opinion. It will help you improve your writing skills and also tell you what you can write more about. Not all can write on almost anything and everything.

So find out what you are good at and stick to it.

4. Check Stats

This is something I learnt from Darren of problogger checking the stats frequently can help you come up with new ideas. See what your readers are reading the most and the you can write even more about it. This can help you look for things and news related to that topic and write more giving your readers what they are looking for.

Well these are some of the very basic and simple steps to follow and collectively can have a huge impact on your readers.

New Way of Making Money - Peel Away your Ads

March 21, 2008 · Filed Under Affiliates, Easy Money Making Programs · Comment

It seems that marketers are leaving no stone unturned or should I say no page unturned to make sure they get the maximum exposure and catch the attention of their prospects. The latest in the line is the revolutionary peelaway ads that promises to catch the attention of your advertisers in a very non intrusive way and they take up very small space however when you hover on them they flip over like a page from a book.

If you would see in the right hand corner of my blog you will a page ready to turn !! When you hover your mouse on it, it turns or flips in a way similar to book page. And from beneath comes an advertisement. Why it is going to work ?? Thats an easy answer. One because this is certainly a eye catcher and a new concept. Two because it is non intrusive and comes out only when the user wants to see whats behind the page. Three because they take very less space and are placed near the header - the space is useless anyway.

Now the things you can do with this new script that is taking the traffic by storm literally. Recently the new V2 version was launched using which you can place them in any corner of your site but the most recommended is the upper right hand corner. What the hack - you can place more than one of those in all 4 corners of your site / blog too !!

Richard Osterude and Harris Fellman the creator of this script have now lowered the price from $127 to a mere $37 which is certainly a steal cause it is certainly going to bring far more revenues than the price we have to pay for it. You can also set it to rotating peels so everytime the page refreshes a new ad is displayed (only if the user wishes)

There are a couple of templates and images that comes with the script so you can create some of your own ads or if you are lazy like me you can simply ad some affiliate links that you wish to promote or promote the product itself which is converting like crazy !! Yes you right they also have an affiliate program so you can make your money back in no time once you buy the script.

The look is fresh and people are always curious to see whats behind the page. Its so attractive and appealing that more or less everyone ends up dragging their mouse over it. At $37 this is certainly the deal of the year and I can already see large blogs and sites peeling their competitors away.
