Suffering from blogging stress ? Here are some remedies

June 8, 2008 · Filed Under Suggestions

The greatest benefit of blogging is that you dont have to follow a schedule or a time table. You blog as and when you like it. You dont have to get up early or listen to your boss who is good at nothing except shouting at you and who constantly reminds you how good your seniors and colleagues are.. But then every profession has its benefits and downfalls and blogging is no exception.

A lot of bloggers complain that they are so tired of their lifestyle constantly looking for new topics to write about, worrying about advertisers, depreciating value of $$ and the list seems to be a little bit to long. At the end of the day they are more exhausted then those who are working in an office as full time slaves and people who are engaged in businesses. So how are we as bloggers supposed to do about it. After going through a lot of blogs and articles I came across some very good remedies. So here are some small yet effective ways to overcome your blogging problems:

- Take small breaks in between. The best way to do it is to take a break of atleast 10 minutes after working constantly for about 2 to 3 hours. Your eyes needs rest and so do you. This also helps you to refresh your mind and come up with fresh and new ideas. Constantly working from your desk sometimes chokes your mind and reduces your working efficiency as well as performance.

- Try Yoga for a change. the entire world is going gaga about it and why not after all it is the best stress buster the man has ever come across. It not only helps you restore your senses and reduce stress but also helps in bringing yourself closer to your spiritual side. You can start with simple asanas and gradually work yourself to more typical ones.

- Hobbies. I find them them the best of all. however you must take interest in it. Not are are interested in reading books. But those who are or were and were not able to continue it due to reasons like hectic lifestyles.

- Another way of busting your stress is reading blogs of other bloggers. It also increases your knowledge and helps you in finding new topics and issues to write about. So its a kind of win win situation.

- Communication it seems is inevitable for the success of any work and blogging is no exception. So when you are tired of blogging about things you really like you can and must take a break and start talking about your work and other related topics with other bloggers who are equally tired of writing in the same or related niche. I never thought that people can actually get bored of doing something that they like but its a hard learned lesson that there is a limit to everything - even enjoyment !! Sad but true. Anyways communicating in this way helps your contacts and blog grow and eventually your business will also grow. You can come up with new ideas.

- Time factor. A lot of people are early risers and this is the perfect time for a quick work out - not exercise but blogging. Your mind is fresh and there are no thoughts in your mind to clutter your mind. You are not angry or tired or stressed. As for the rest of you - people like me who are lazy and like to sleep more and rise late, well you should skipped paragraph frankly speaking unless you can change it which i doubt is possible. I am trying since last 4 years and still always manage to get late every time cause I just cant get up early.

- Writing about things other than what you usually write about. A good example of this would be john chow who is famous for writing dinner posts apart from his make money online posts. it not only helps in reducing the stress but also gives you a new topic to write about. When yo short of ideas/topics you can always try something different. Dont be afraid thinking what your readers will think or advertisers will complain that you are writing off topic. Everybody like changes which is so inevitable at times.

These are just some of the ways you can try however the list is not exhaustive and you can always try and experiment with your blog. What ever you do, do it with confidence which should reflect in your blog.
