Who says dont write for Google ??
Here I am back to something that I love talking about apart from earning online topics. After all that is what blogging is all about - talking and writing about things you love the most.
I have seen this on a lot of blogs and now this is really pissing me off. so many bloggers are talking about how writing for themselves and not google helped them gain rankings while almost everyone of them have doing exactly the same - writing for google to gain serps and benefit from traffic. I dont say that you should become a google slave write what they like but you must in a way so that google recognises you.
Lets put is this way… When you are quite young in your blogging age and no one recognises you or your talent how are you going to reach the masses ?? You will have to take the benefit of google and improve your serps and organic traffic which every blogger experienced or inexperienced claims is the best traffic !! So how are you exactly going to do it ? Simple, apply some mind and some seo. If you are even somewhat good at it then your blog’s traffic should improve in a couple of months.
So target keywords and twist your articles in a way so that they can incorporate them, inter linking, build BL and use images saved with the name of your keyword linking to some of your old pages and posts and so on… Ok you get the idea. The important thing is to DO IT.
Its not bad to write in a way so as to benefit from it but it is definitely a sin to write only trash and rehash theories providing no value to your readers just so that you can rank on google1st page for a keyword and when the reader clicks on the link and lands on your page, he finds nothing but crab !!
So you must strike a balance between content and google both so that everyone is a winner - google cause they get quality content, readers cause they get a good read and you cause you get - well whatever your purpose of increasing the traffic is !!
You might have heard the concept of evil blogger that has been so much popularised by our very own John Chow (no I dont know him personally so dont point a finger when I say ” our very own “) and this is exactly what you should be doing. But dont push the limits and cross the line cause too much evil in you and your blog will see you out of the game even before you are in it.
